Prologue

Master bakers just love what they do
Perfecting short crust and buns made of choux
Some may have an epic quiche planned
Till golden brown then leave it to stand
A good meringue should be fluffy and light
A lemon drizzle should have a slight bite
A cupcake made for charity sales
A welsh cake isn’t always from wales
We eat cake a lot - some are lovely, some are not
But if you eat it, choke it, spit it, then you cough
Then the eggs were off
But my reason today why I sing at you this way
Is the story of a boy who owned a poodle
Made a damm good strudel
